HISTORY AL – HALEEM INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS were founded on the 3rd June, 1991 at 19 Olumegbon street, off Funsho Williams Avenue, Surulere,Lagos by Hajiya Rakiya Tukur,as pre-school, nursery and primary schools. Increase in the population of learners compelled the proprietress to secure two additional buildings at 17and 21on the same Street —Olumegbon street,Surulere, Lagos.
At the inception, the schools had four classrooms with a boy and a girl as learners. With the help of Allah, by July of that year the population had risen to twenty five, comprised 18 girls and 7 boys. With the tremendous increase learners population and the need for expansion forced the proprietress to erect a beautiful edifice at 21, Ereludanisa street, off Adeshina Street, Ijeshatedo as the schools’ permanent site in November,2006. The three-storey building accommodates pre school, nursery and primary learners. 19,Olumegbon Street in the heart of Surulere still remains the site of establishment.
On the 19th November 2012, the college arm of the schools moved to its permanent site at 34 Erelu Danisa Street, Ijeshatedo, Surulere Lagos.
